European stock markets showed gains on 26 February 2018, encouraging a market recovery after declines seen earlier in the month. American markets closed with gains of just over a percentage point, and some European markets were close behind. The Spain’s Ibex gained the most—closing 0.81% higher, followed by the FTSE 100, France’s Cac, Germany’s Dax, and Italy’s FTSE MIB. The market in Greece didn’t benefit from the trend, instead closing down almost a whole percentage point.
