I believe my endowment is supposed to pay out within the next 8 months or so.
My issue is it has been so long(20 + years) I am not completely sure how much I will get. In my imagination it was double my money but that can’t be right can it ?!?!??

I regards to your endowment policy you should of been receiving statements regarding the performance of the policy.My advise would be to contact the provider and gain accurate information on the endowment.
IF you find that there is a shortfall you can look at changing your current mortgage to a repayment mortgage to try and close the gap.
