Investors are fleeing the UK commercial property market, with the City and Scotland the worst hit. The average deal size in the three months to September was the lowest since the nadir of the financial crisis in 2009. The amount spent on London offices was down two thirds from a year earlier, and Scottish investment was down by 74% year on year. A number of deals have fallen through and sellers have been reluctant to accept the lower prices being offered.
