Buy to let, or people looking to buy property just to rent out, is predicted to see a downturn in 2018. A recent spat of regulatory changes is seen to blame for this. Increased taxes, less incentive to buy and harder hurdles to buy are seen as the main reasons for the planned decrease. This is in comparison to first time buyers who are seen to be increasing as prices decrease over the next year.
