Gross mortage lending in the United Kingdom increased in the month of March, but it is 2.3% lower than a year earlier at this time. The number of total mortage approval has fallen to 15% and purhcase approval has fallen to 21% compared to March 2017. There has been some postives though with both first time home buyers and those looking to refinance as well. House prices have slowed and as consumers show more cation in the economic and political state of uncertainty. The outlook for the upcoming months will depend on whether ther is an interest rise in the future.
