An online version of a major news network reports that the recent Brexit decision has not prevented Asians from investing in British properties. In 2016, Asians were involved in 28% of property purchases, versus 17% in 2015. The report attributed this to the fact that many Asians have an emotional attachment to London. The report covered one company that is building homes in Manchester and marketing them in Asia. The developer said many Asians pay in cash. The report states much of the buying is from China.
