TSB is increasing the interest rate it charges mortgage borrowers. The rate increases affect people buying their first homes as well as those moving or remortgaging. The increases vary between 0.05% and 0.10% depending on the loan-to-value ratio and the individual circumstances. In a more positive move for borrowers, TSB is scrapping the mortgage application fees it used to charge all customers.
