House prices in 5 up-and-coming London suburbs have soared to record levels in the latter part of 2016. Prices rose significantly in Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Croydon, Havering and Redbridge. Property experts believe this is down to the record low levels of interest imposed by the Bank of England and London has shown a strong hold on its place in the UK overall property market.
